Event Description:

Step aboard the Legendary Wejack, an authentic Gloucester Fishing Yacht, to see the many visiting schooners during the Parade of Sail up close and personal from the water during Labor Day weekend as part of the Gloucester Schooner Festival Calendar of Events. This is a favorite so make sure you get your tickets before they sell out.  This trip is scenic and gets you up close to see the schooners underway in Gloucester Harbor.  Full bar onboard! The Wejack is powered vessel and we’ll make sure you get the best views of the schooners.

The boat leaves promptly, please plan your trip accordingly.  If you’re coming from out of town, we recommend planning to arrive in Gloucester 30-45 minutes prior, to be safe and find parking.  Boarding begins 15 minutes prior to departure time.

Finding the Dock/Wejack Yacht

Cape Ann Cruises’ yacht, the Wejack, is docked next to the Gloucester House Restaurant, 63 Rogers Street, Gloucester, MA. Facing the Gloucester House Restaurant (from 63 Rogers street), we’re docked on the right side of the Gloucester House.

Commuter Rail Accessible From Boston’s North Station

The Cape Ann Cruises dock is only 1/2 mile from the Gloucester Commuter Rail Station outbound from North Station. So this show is accessible for all you Boston folks that want to enjoy the beautiful train ride along the North Shore.

What to Wear

Consider comfortable and practical shoes and a warm layer just in case as the temperatures can be much cooler on the water.

Lodging

Gloucester has many lodging options, beaches and museums. We recommend making more than a night of it.
